The BenchK PS8 is a replacement set of 8 Fischer DUOPOWER 10 × 80 plugs, each with a BenchK wall-bar screw, for BenchK Series 1 and Series 2 wall bars mounted on masonry. You don't need it for a new installation, because every wall-bar carton already includes fixings for concrete or solid brick. It's for replacing lost or damaged fixings, or for remounting a frame in a new spot.
About the plugs
- Two-component design. The gray nylon body adapts to the wall material by expanding, folding or rolling, while the red element's wings add expansion and protect the gray part.
- Stays put while you work. A small collar stops the plug from falling into the hole, and serrated sides stop it from spinning as the screw goes in.
- Clear feedback. You can feel when the plug is fully set, and it can't easily be over-tightened.
- Flexible assembly. Suitable for pre-positioned or push-through installation.
Where it fits
- Frames: BenchK 8-rung Series 1 and Series 2 frames. For Series 7, use the PS12.
- Walls: concrete or solid brick at least 4.7 in (12 cm) thick.
- Not for wood studs: Fischer plugs aren't suitable for wood. Stud walls need the WH1+S4 (Series 1) or the WHB+S8 / WHW+S8 (Series 2).
- Not for drywall alone, which can't carry wall bars.
