How Ordering Works
What happens between checkout and delivery, for parcel items and freight equipment, and who to contact at every step.
From checkout to delivery
- You place your order. Payment goes through Shopify's secure checkout, which shows your shipping cost before you pay. Shop Pay Installments are offered on eligible orders. You'll get an order confirmation by email.
- KORVN reviews it. We check the order, the shipping address and the delivery details. If something is missing, such as a phone number the freight carrier can reach, we'll contact you.
- We place it with the manufacturer. KORVN confirms availability and shipping with the manufacturer. Orders ship directly from the manufacturer, while KORVN coordinates the order and remains your point of contact from purchase through delivery. An order that includes more than one brand can arrive in separate shipments.
- If anything is delayed, we tell you. If an item is backordered or delayed, KORVN contacts you with your options: wait for it, or cancel that item. We don't cancel your order without talking to you first.
- Your order ships. Parcel orders: you'll receive tracking when the order ships. Freight orders: KORVN sends the delivery details once the shipment is booked. Freight carriers usually call ahead to arrange delivery, so use a phone number you'll answer.
- You inspect it on arrival. For freight, count the cartons and check the packaging before you sign, and note any damage on the delivery paperwork. For QLI shipments, report damage to KORVN within 48 hours of delivery.
- KORVN stays your contact. Questions about assembly, parts, warranty claims or returns come to us, and we coordinate with the manufacturer.
What shipping costs
- BenchK and Recoil: free shipping.
- QLI: calculated at checkout from your delivery state and the items in the order. Freight equipment is priced by delivery region and the total number of QLI machines: one machine is $520–$860, depending on region, and orders with several machines pay less per machine. Orders of more than 6 machines are quoted before purchase. Parcel items are priced by delivery state and total parcel weight, from $40. If an order has both, both charges apply. A few very large QLI items can't be priced at checkout, so their product pages offer a freight quote instead.
- American Barbell: a delivered price instead of a checkout rate. Request it on the product page. KORVN confirms current availability and the shipping cost for your address, then sends a secure Shopify invoice. You pay only after you've seen the delivered price.
- Automated rates cover the lower 48 states and Washington, D.C. For Alaska, Hawaii or anywhere else, contact KORVN before ordering.
Getting ready for a freight delivery
- Freight is delivered curbside or to a dock. Residential freight may include liftgate service. Inside delivery, stairs, assembly and packaging removal are not included.
- Plan the route and the room. Check doorways, stairs, turns and ceiling height against the product dimensions on the product page.
- Arrange help. Large equipment ships in heavy cartons. Plan how you'll move them from the curb or dock to where the equipment will go.
- Be reachable. Keep your phone nearby around the delivery so you don't miss the carrier's call.

After it arrives
Assembly and installation aren't included unless the product page says so or it's arranged separately. Some equipment may need professional installation, depending on the product and the mounting surface.

Changes, cancellations and returns
Need to change or cancel? Contact KORVN as soon as possible with your order number. What's possible depends on how far the order has progressed: once manufacturer processing or freight booking has started, a change or cancellation may no longer be possible, and we'll confirm any costs before we act.
